The Maxx is the second trim level in the Mazda3 line-up, and kicks off at $22,390 for either hatchback or sedan bodies.
This list price is $1900 more than the base Neo, and adds the MZD Connect multimedia system with satnav and a reversing camera, a leather steering wheel, gear knob and handbrake, plus paddle shifters for the auto. The trim level above the Maxx is the Touring, which starts off at $2400 more than the Maxx at $24,790.
Like all Mazda3s beneath the SP25s, the Maxx comes with a 114kW/200Nm 2.0-litre petrol four cylinder engine and a six-speed manual transmission, but a six-speed automatic can be added for an extra $2000.
