Holden Commodore: Stretched timing chain in SV6 ute

The engine warning light on my 2010 Holden SV6 ute flashed on, so I took it into Holden to have it checked. They came back saying the timing chain was stretched and needed replacing. The car only has just over 90,000km on it. I'm the third owner, so how confident would you be about me getting it fixed under warranty?

Not very confident I'm afraid. It's a well known problem, but the car is five years old and has done 90,000km. You should try to get some compensation, but the best I reckon you might get would be if Holden paid for part of the cost of repairs.
