Mazda BT-50 2014: Coolant hose to the turbo fractured

My son nearly 'lost' the engine in his 2014 Mazda BT-50 when the coolant hose to the turbo fractured, which is a problem Mazda is only fixing on service, but no recall to replace this that has the potential to destroy the engine with coolant loss. Not good enough Mazda!

It’s certainly something that should be fixed under warranty, but it’s not something that would normally be the subject of a recall. Recalls are for issues of safety where there is a risk to life and limb.
