Honda CR-V 2014: Is paint protection worthwhile?

We are buying a new Honda CR-V and wanting to know whether having the paint protection put on at extra cost is worth the money and will add value to the car in the long run. The cost is $1000.

Don’t do it. It’s usually a waste of money if you’re prepared to keep the car clean and polish it very occasionally.
