I have changed the battery in my Honda Jazz 2006 and there was a warning sign on the old battery that I had to take the car to the dealer to reset the memory for the auto transmission. Do you think it would damage the transmission if I didn't have the memory reset?
No, it should remember your driving style and start off again normally. If it shifts in an odd way then take it to a dealer and have it checked, but it’s most unlikely that you will do any damage to the transmission.
