Globally the Junior is available in 'Sempione White', 'Tortona Black', 'Brera Red', 'Navigli Blue-Teal', 'Arese Steel', and 'Scala Ivory' - some of which are offered with a two-tone body and roof scheme.
Specification is yet to be confirmed but expect 18-inch alloy wheels, vinyl and fabric interior, leather steering wheel, power-operated driver’s seat with massage function, and 'Alfa Connected Services' with over-the-air updates and access to the 'My Alfa Connect' smartphone app that allows you to remotely open and close doors, manage charging and preheat or cool the interior.
Given the dimensions of the Alfa Romeo Junior, the cabin is compact, but it doesn't feel cramped. There is excellent storage and amenities up front, but not many in the rear. The dash design is very Alfa Romeo and the Junior features a pair of 10.25-inch digital displays as standard - one for the driver instrumentation and the other for multimedia.
The regular or entry-level Junior electric delivers 115kW/260Nm. The performance-focussed Veloce 280 EV gets 207kW/345Nm.
The ‘plugless’ hybrid combines a 1.2-litre three-cylinder 48-volt assisted turbo-petrol engine with a 21kW electric motor housing a six-speed dual-clutch transmission, producing a combined output of 100kW and 230Nm.
