Volvo XC90 Pricing and Specs
Now as much of a symbol for Volvo in Australia as its squared-off wagon ancestors, the Volvo flagship large SUV has kept the brand in the fight against tough rivals like the Volkswagen Touareg, BMW X5, and Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class.
While the first generation stuck around from 2002-2014 (perhaps past its use-by date), the second generation introduced an all-new platform and dramatic styling language, as well as smaller turbocharged engines designed to work alongside hybrid systems. Volvo is pitched at the premium end of the market, and as such is priced from $90,990 for the XC90 D5 Momentum (awd) and goes as high as $115,990 for the XC90 T8 Recharge Phev (awd).

Coverage of new XC90?
We have been reporting the long-overdue new XC90 since Volvo first began the trickle feed of information, including in our February 20 edition. We also highlighted it as a potential Car of the Year contender in last week's edition. As for words like "benchmark", "standout" and "quality", we are waiting for a verdict when we drive it locally in early August. Watch out for our review.Show more
Good second-hand seven-seat SUV?
The XC90 is a very old design and one at that price might be a bit doubtful. Your best choice would be a Kia or Hyundai, which are far better than you might think and may even have some factory warranty at your budget.Show more
The engine cannot have been running without coolant for a month. I think you're going to have some difficulty in proving your claim that there was a problem with the car when you bought it.Show more
