My 2016 Hyundai Accent SR surges all the time at 50 km/h. Why hasn't Hyundai designed software to correct this?
I have had trouble with my 2012 Peugeot 207 Sportium. Just 13 days out from its warranty the thermostat was not working and the car's system indicated that it was not to be driven and needed to be towed for repairs. The repair consisted of a replacement thermostat paid for by the dealer, and a cost of $950 for labour paid by me. A year and a half later my car was running very roughly and I was advised by an independent dealer that it needed a reconditioned motor at the cost of $6000. I took the car to where I had purchased it and after a protracted set of negotiations it was agreed that they would fix the problem – a new head gasket and two valves to be replaced at the cost of $1900 and a loan car for the period of the repair. I am well into that process now. I believed that this is the best deal that I can get and am appreciative of the offer. Do you agree with me or is there something else that I should do?
I have a 2007 Holden Captiva 3.2 V6. It has a full service history and has had the timing chains done. I was driving home and the engine turned off. Luckily, I was only going 40 km/h, but there was no warning at all and now the engine won't restart. Has anyone else had this problem?
As a purchaser of a new Mazda 3 less than one year ago I expected the GPS system to be fully functional. It has not reliably worked on a continuous basis since taking delivery. The system can take 10 or more minutes to start tracking and even then most of the tome it shows the car as being up to several kilometres from where it actually is – sometimes not even on a road. It has been back to the dealer twice and the system software reloaded, but it is still not fixed. The dealer says they are waiting on further updated software due in 2017. Could you please find out from Mazda a more precise date when my system will finally be rectified?
Is the cam timing belt service interval for the AH Holden Astra 90,000km or 60,000km as some people say?
My wife and I own a 2007 Mercedes-Benz CLS 350 and a 2010 ML350. The sat navs on both cars are out of date and Mercedes have said they cannot be updated! Is there some way to get it done? It is so frustrating to own a prestige mark, but cannot use sat nav to get to many places.
I have just bought a 2005 Falcon XR6 and I have noticed an oil leak that appears to be coming from the head. Also the main belt looks a bit worn like it's rubbing on the pulley. Any clues on what might be wrong?
