Our most recent review of the 2023 Subaru WRX resulted in a score of 8 out of 10 for that particular example.
Carsguide Managing Editor - Head of Video Matt Campbell had this to say at the time: I’d happily recommend it to someone in my situation - with a young family - though I should reiterate that over the months I’ve been in it, I’ve found the WRX wagon has lived up to its 'family' factor even better than its 'fun' factor. If I were to buy one, I’d be sure to upgrade the wheels and tyres to a more grippy set that looked more aggressive, and that’d certainly help it feel more overtly sporty.

This is what Matt Campbell liked most about this particular version of the Subaru WRX: Surprisingly efficient, Not punishing as a daily, Good space inside

The Subaru WRX 2023 prices range from $40,040 for the basic trim level Sedan (Awd) to $58,080 for the top of the range Wagon Gt (Awd).

Subaru doesn’t offer a towbar for the WRX, and there isn’t any on offer in the aftermarket. There is talk of a towbar being made available at some point in the future, but at the moment there’s no provision for towing with the WRX.

While there are ways to make your Mazda 3 quite fast it is not cheap or easy, and will require extensive involvement from experts. You would be far better served to look for a second-hand factory turbocharged high-performance Mazda MPS model, or buying a Subaru WRX, or Volkswagen Golf GTI, to get your high-performance kicks.

The ‘Ultrasuede’ black sports bucket seats are really comfy and designed in a look that’s worthy of the STI branding embossed into the head restraints. There's eight-way power seats for the driver and front passenger and the driver gets dual memory and lumbar support. The front seats and outboard rear seats are all heated.
The boot is a decent size - 492 litres, or 909L with the second row folded down.
