Being a courier driver has never been so exciting.
Vans are one of the most boring vehicles on the roads however, the likes of a Ford Transit can make the basis for an interesting engine swap.
A British man by the name, Andrius Jonusas, has clearly taken a lead out of Top Gear’s book with his third generation Ford Transit by adding a larger engine to the commercial vehicle.

In the nose of the van now sits Nissan's legendary RB straight six, commonly found in the Skyline.
This isn’t your standard RB unit however, as it is a hybrid between the RB30 and RB26.
The block is an RB30 while the head and intake manifold are from the RB26.

Combined with a turbo running 18.8 psi of boost, 559kW and 840Nm of torque is produced which is a hell of a lot for a van to be putting to the ground.
Despite all that power, Andrius has only completed the 1/4 mile (400m) in 15.8sec, but believes quicker times are possible.
Still, this makes for an effective but unconventional drift car… and eventaully a drag car, maybe Australia Post should start employing these for deliveries.
Unlike your typical sleeper, the owner hasn’t done anything to hide the fact this Transit has been modified.
There is an air intake and intercooler sticking out the front of the van like a sore thumb while the rest of the car has been given an aggressive stance thanks to fat rubber, flared wheel arches and a matte black paint job.
