When The Fast and The Furious flick was released in 2001, people walked away from the cinemas in love with Vin Diesel’s Dodge Charger and Paul Walker’s Toyota Supra.
While the Charger went on to appear in almost every movie, the Supra never really scored a major role beyond the first film.
Yes, one was in 2 Fast 2 Furious and Fast Five, while Paul’s very own Supra was also featured in Furious 7, but the screen time was only brief.
But this is set to change with an orange A90 spotted on the film set of Fast 9.
Finished in the same Lamborghini Diablo Candy orange colour as the original - minus the 'ricer' side decals - it'll appear alongside a mid-engine Dodge Charger, so one can hope the climatic drag race from the first film is re-enacted in the new one.
Not much is known about the sports car's role in the movie, but it would be a crime not to recreate this scene…
