Mini Convertible Accessories

As standard the Mini Cooper Convertible gets a 9.4-inch touchscreen multimedia system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless charger, heated front seats, as well as piano black highlights.

The Favoured trim adds a Union Jack highlight on the fabric soft-top roof, 12-speaker Harman Kardon premium sound system, JCW seats with power adjustment.

The JCW Sport adds a body kit, adaptive suspension, sport brakes, a JCW steering wheel, as well as black/red interior trim.

Full-blown JCW trims get a single, central-mounted exhaust tip.

The flagship JCW Favoured also gains performance tyres.

Mini Convertible Interior

The centrepiece of the Mini Cooper Convertible is a round 9.4-inch OLED touchscreen multimedia system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

There is also a flip-up head-up display in place of the speedometer as there's no typical gauge or digital instrument cluster.

Mini Convertible Seats

The Mini Cooper Convertible has a four-seat configuration unlike many convertibles in Australia.

There is synthetic leather and fabric combination upholstery as standard, with the front seats offering heating.

Mini Convertible Engine

All Mini Cooper Convertible trims come with a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine.

Cooper C versions make 120kW/250Nm, Cooper S versions make 150kW/300Nm, then JCW versions make 170kW/380Nm.

Mini Convertible Speed

The Mini Cooper C Convertible can do the 0-100km/h sprint in 8.2 seconds and has a top speed of 220km/h.

The Mini Cooper S Convertible can do the 0-100km/h sprint in 6.9 seconds and has a top speed of 237km/h.

The Mini JCW Convertible can do the 0-100km/h sprint in 6.4 seconds and has a top speed of 245km/h.

Mini Convertible Range

All Mini Cooper Convertible trims have a 44L fuel tank.

Claimed combined fuel consumption, according to ADR 81/02 testing, for Cooper C and Cooper S trims is 6.6L/100km, and for JCW trims is 6.9L/100km.

Therefore theoretical driving range is between 637km and 666km, depending on the variant.

Cooper C and Cooper S trims require a minimum of 95 RON premium unleaded petrol, however JCW trims require a minimum of 98 RON premium unleaded petrol.
