Mercedes-Benz E400 2018
Carsguide Contributing journalist Andrew Chesterton had this to say at the time: A convertible that doesn't feel like one when the roof is in place is no easy task to build, but it's one Merc's engineers have pulled off with the E400 4Matic Cabriolet. Effortless power, a tonne of technology and a comfy, leather-wrapped cabin all make Merc's drop-top E-Class a strong proposition. You can read the full review here.

Mercedes-Benz E400 2018 Q&As
Check out real-world situations relating to the Mercedes-Benz E 400 here, particularly what our experts have to say about them.
How much oil should a 2015 E400 use?
If you aren't doing it already keep a record of the oil you put in, recording the date, the odometer, and the amount of oil added. That would give you some evidence to present to the dealer and MB. As you haven't had any satisfaction from the dealer go directly to Mercedes-Benz (Ph: 1300 730 200). There shouldn't be any reason to be scared on driving the car, all cars use oil, it's the amount of oil used that it the question that needs to be answered in your case. In the meantime check the oil level weekly.Show more
Good mid-size drop-top?
I have yet to drive the E400 but, in general, mid-sized Mercedes drop-tops have lots of space and comfort but are not remotely sporty. If that’s what you crave, it should do the job.Show more
