The Kia Carnival Si is an eight-seater people mover that's offered on one platform with two engine choices.

It comes with either a 3.3-litre V6 petrol engine which makes 206kW/336Nm and costs $47,990 before on-road costs, or a 2.2-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel that produces 147kW/440Nm. It costs $2500 more at $50,490.

All Carnivals are equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission powering the front wheels, along with AEB, lane departure warning and adaptive cruise control as standard. The Si is equipped with a reversing camera and rear sensors, along with automatic lights, multi-zone climate control, 17-inch alloys, nicer seat fabrics, tinted front side glass, LED combo rear lamps, leather wrapped steering wheel and gearshifter and an 8.0-inch screen with sat nav and Apple CarPlay.

It sits above the S and below the SLi and Platinum grades.
