Toyota has increased its capped price servicing costs by as much as $50 a visit - here are the details for your RAV4, Corolla, LandCruiser, or C-HR - Car News

Toyota has updated its capped-price servicing costs compared to late last year, according to the local brand’s website.

Pricing for every Toyota model has gone up by between $15 and $50 per service.

New cars sold by Toyota can be had with a three- or five-year capped-price servicing plan, with Toyota’s still one of the most affordable in Australia despite the price increases.

The headline changes are to some of the brand’s most popular models, including the RAV4’s price increase of $30 per service over its five-year span, or the $25-30 price increase per service for HiLux utes over three years, depending on whether they’re a petrol or diesel respectively.

While increases like $50 per service doesn’t sound too bad once a year, the Yaris’s increase of $40 from its earlier price of $205 makes it a 20 per cent increase in the overall cost, up to $1225 for its whole five year span.
