Porsche 911 black edition

Kicking off in April 2011, Porsche will release a limited edition 911 Carrera model based on the current 345hp (254 kW) Carrera complete with a 3.6 litre engine.

The 911 Black Edition will be available as a Coupé or Cabriolet – and only in black of course.  The 911 Black Edition is limited to 1,911 units and costs the same as the Carrera basic models.

So what's different? It's mainly in the design details.   The Cabrio hood is black, the 19 inch 911 Turbo II bi-colour wheels are unique to this edition, and is the grey top-tint in the windscreen in standard on this model.  The car's interior also incorporates some unique design touches including a sports design steering wheel, a black interior cluster and rear centre console, as well as a badge in the glovebox testifying to the 911 Black Edition's limited production run.
