Mazda has revealed pricing for its updated CX-3 small SUV range.

The CX-3 has been significantly facelifted for 2019 to bring it in-line with the rest of Mazda’s range. The update includes higher standard spec, an upgraded diesel engine and a refreshed interior and exterior aesthetic.

Two engines continue to be available across the CX-3 range. The more popular 2.0-litre petrol remains unchanged at 110kW/195Nm. However, a new 1.8-litre diesel replaces the outgoing 1.5-litre boosting power from 77kW to 85kW. Torque remains at 270Nm.

Every CX-3 grade can be optioned as a six-speed auto at a $2000 premium and all-wheel drive (auto only) can be added at a $4000 premium, excluding the base Neo Sport.

Cosmetic updates include a new horizontal grille, rear light clusters, as well as a re-designed centre console and a folding rear armrest (for Maxx Sport grade and higher).

The entry level Neo Sport FWD petrol manual which kicks off the range now includes a reverse camera and electronic parking brake as standard, but the price has been increased $4000 over the current range to $23,990.

The Neo Sport also comes standard with 16-inch steel wheels, halogen headlamps, power folding mirrors, a 7.0-inch touchscreen with DAB+, keyless ignition, rear parking sensors, and AEB. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is yet to be rolled out accross Mazda's range.

The Neo Sport cannot be optioned as a diesel.

A new centre console has been designed around the new electronic park brake across the range.

Optioning the Maxx Sport as a diesel (FWD auto) comes at a $4500 cost for a total of $29,990.

Next up, the sTouring grade starts at $28,740 and adds 18-inch alloy wheels, heated auto-folding mirrors, a full array of LED lighting, ‘Maztex’ seat trim, head-up display, auto dimming rear-view mirror, keyless entry, driver attention alert, front parking sensors and traffic sign recognition.

The sTouring can be optioned as a diesel (AWD auto) at a $6500 premium bringing the total to $35,240.

The Akari grade sits at the top of the CX-3 range starting from $33,990 for the front-wheel drive manual.

The Akari adds a sliding glass sunroof, power adjustable & heated front seats, black or white leather seat trim, adaptive cruise control with stop and go function (auto only), 'Lane Departure Warning' (LDW), 360-degree parking camera and auto-adjusting headlights.
