I WANT to buy a 2000-2004 automatic Holden station wagon. My price range is $8000-$17,000, but my preference is the $15,000-$16,000 mark. It is intended to serve our growing family with the majority of driving on country roads. Can you recommend a model?

IT'S best to buy the newest model you can afford, so that means a VYII of 2003/04. The engine is the ECOTEC V6, which is a solid performer.
