Holden Commodore 1997: Coolant leak

The coolant in my 1997 V6 VT Commodore Wagon keeps vanishing. The top and bottom radiator hoses are empty after car has cooled down and I need to top it up before I drive it. I can't for the life of me find a leak and the oil is clear, so I'm guessing there?s no head damage. It runs smoothly for about 10 min, but as soon as it warms up it feels like it's misfiring. Any idea what is going on?

The fact that it’s running roughly once it’s warmed up suggests you have a problem with either the head gasket or the head, even though there’s apparently no oil in the coolant. Try and identify which cylinder, or cylinders, are misfiring and remove that head to check it.
