Volkswagen Golf: Stalling

My 2012 VW GTi has an annoying habit of stalling when taking off from rest. I've asked the dealer if the idling speed can be adjusted up, but they say no. Can I go to another VW dealer as a warranty matter? Or is it likely by going to a tuning shop there's more chance of fixing this? I don't care if I have to pay for it.

Go back to the dealer and explain your problem to them and they should be able to fix it. If the idle speed is too low it's not a matter of adjusting it higher, there is something else wrong that needs to be fixed, and your dealer is best placed to do it.
