Good options for a wagon?

A few years back we bought a new Volkswagen Passat wagon 118TSI and were terribly disappointed. A particularly disinterested dealer and continual DSG issues plus creeping-up kilometres add up to us wanting to sell this car and buy a new wagon. We have read with much interest your comments about the new Mazda6 wagon and, having visited a dealer, we are very interested in buying one. We're also contemplating a Mercedes C200 Estate and possibly a BMW 320i Touring.

The Mazda6 is very good and great for the price but the Mercedes C-Class wagon is a couple of steps further up the ladder and an excellent car if you have the money.
