2012 VW Golf transmission gone

My 2012 VW Golf has twice stalled/lost power and it makes noises in third gear. I've been told by the NRMA that my "transmission is gone" and the car isn't safe to drive. What do I need to do to be heard and the problem fixed?

You need to take it to your dealer and report the problems and request that it be fixed. Your car is still under warranty, so there shouldn't be any issues in having it repaired. If that doesn't resolve the issue, take your concerns directly to VW.
