Zeekr 8X

Zeekr 8X

The Zeekr 8X arrived in early 2026 as a high-performance addition to the Geely-owned brand’s growing local portfolio. Positioned as a five-seat large SUV, it measures over five metres long and shares its SEA-S architecture with the flagship 9X. While earlier Zeekr models focused on pure-electric power, this model introduces a petrol-electric hybrid drivetrain to the line-up.

In overseas markets such as China, the Zeekr 8X is sold with both dual-motor and triple-motor configurations. The top-tier variant is known as the Yao Ying or Black Edition and features a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine paired with three electric motors. This combination produces a combined 1030kW and allows the heavy SUV to reach 100km/h in less than three seconds.

It sits above the mid-size 7X and offers a luxury-focused alternative to established European rivals.
