The best course of action is to fit a new clutch. It might not have had a new clutch fitted in its life so far and if so it's probably on its way out and will need replacing soon anyway.

It would be worth doing a full tune on the engine if you haven’t done that recently. Check and make sure the idle speed is correct, and not too slow, fit new spark plugs and spark plug leads, and have the injectors cleaned.
There’s not much you can do, it has to be fixed and that requires a replacement computer. A secondhand computer might well do the trick, but it is, after all, secondhand and there’s no guarantee with it. I would be tempted to go for the new part, which would come with a warranty and give you some peace of mind.
