Selling tips

Is the 1998 HSV Clubsport collectable? I have been told 164 were made with the last of the 5.0-litre V8, 61 of which were manuals. I’ve been offered $15,000 for mine, and seen $25,000 put up for one. If it’s what the mechanics and car clubs and HSV say then it’s a nest egg not a love affair.
I have a 2012 Mazda BT-50 GT twin-cab auto with a towbar and bulbar that has done 51,000 km. Could you tell me what it is worth to sell, as I am thinking about a Kia Sportage or something similar for up to $35,000 long warranty. I would appreciate your input.
I have a HSV GTO that I have owned since new, but space is a problem at home and I have been considering selling it. I really enjoy the driving the car, but I have a more recent HSV Maloo, which is now my regular drive. What are your thoughts regarding the ongoing value of the GTO, it's in good condition with about 142,000 km on the odometer? What do you think prices of the GTO are likely to do over the next couple of years, and what are your thoughts on maybe 10 year hence?
I wish to sell my 2006 Toyota Landcruiser Sahara V8 auto with 139,500 km. What price range should I be looking at?

I have been advised my 2007 VW Golf has low compression in all four cylinders, so it’s obviously going to cost thousands to repair. What is the best way to sell or get rid of my car?

I am a single parent with a 6-year-old child who I take to school and then drive to work. My current car is a 2002 Ford Laser LXi, which is in good condition, but I am looking to upgrade to something larger with more space, legroom, safety and most of all reliability. I want to buy used and automatic, either hatchback or SUV, but a bit larger than a Kia Cerato. I was thinking of a Toyota RAV4. What would be a reasonable price for one, and what could I expect to receive for my Laser?
What would the private sale, trade-in and dealer prices be for a 2011 Nissan Micra manual that has only done 41,100km?
