The Skoda Epiq was revealed as a concept in March 2024 and reached production in 2026. It is the brand's entry-level electric SUV, a 4.1-metre city model aimed at buyers who would otherwise choose the petrol Kamiq. Skoda targeted a European starting price of around €25,000, roughly matching that car.
A near-production show car followed at the 2025 Munich motor show, before the production model premiered in Zurich in May 2026. The Epiq rides on the Volkswagen Group's MEB+ platform with front-wheel drive, shared with the Volkswagen ID.Polo, and is built in Pamplona, Spain.
Skoda names its electric models with an E prefix and a Q suffix, following the Enyaq and Elroq. Its combustion SUVs start with K. The Skoda Epiq is confirmed for Australia, with a 2027 launch planned. In August 2026 Skoda Australia warned strong European demand could push that to late 2027.
