Renault Arkana 2022 Interior
The interior of the Renault Arkana is an interesting space. The base model gets a different 7.0-inch touchscreen to the mid- and top-spec variants, which have a 9.3-inch portrait style media display. It is a crisp and nicely thought out interface, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as sat nav in the top two grades as well.
Renault asks customers to spend extra for a 10.25' fully digital dashboard in the lower grades. This is standard on the R.S Line.

There is a claimed 0-100km/h acceleration time of 9.1 seconds for the Arkana, which is fitted with a 1.3L turbo engine in all grades. Based on our testing, this seems ambitious in everyday conditions given the EDC dual-clutch automatic transmission’s general sluggishness to move the Arkana from rest during incidental acceleration inputs.

Should I increase tyre pressure on my Renault Arkana if I have four passengers and luggage on board?
Conventional wisdom is that your should increase tyre pressures with increases in load and travelling speed. But in the Arkana’s case, the factory tyre pressure recommendation for either urban or freeway speeds remains at the 33 front and 31 rear psi you’ve noted on your tyre placard. Which suggests that the type of tyre Renault is using is happiest at those pressure regardless of average speed. Which, in turn, suggests that a load that varies only by a couple of passengers and a few pieces of luggage is likewise not going to affect the tyre’s performance.
A much better thing to concern yourself with is to keep a weekly eye on the tyre pressures. Tyres lose about one psi a month just sitting around, so keeping on top of that is very important in a safety sense. A tyre can be as low as about 12 psi before it will even look strange to the naked eye, so buy yourself a good quality tyre gauge and get into the habit of checking those pressures every weekend.

Renault Arkana 2022 Boot Space
The boot space of the Arkana isn't like a traditional wagon-body style SUV, because that roofline eats into the space quite a bit. But the car is long, and that means there's a lot of cargo room available up to the back of the rear seat. The figure supplied by Renault is 485 litres (VDA), which can expand to 1268L VDA with the rear seats folded down.
Like most SUVs these days it has a two-level floor system, meaning you can have a flat section from boot to back seats, or a stepped lower boot area for more depth in the cargo zone. There's a space saver spare wheel under the boot floor, too.
