The 2023 Nissan Z range of configurations is currently priced from $55,555.
Our most recent review of the 2023 Nissan Z resulted in a score of 7.3 out of 10 for that particular example.
Carsguide Editor Malcolm Flynn had this to say at the time: It’s fair to say the new Z is more about fundamentals than outright finesse, but it has the former in spades, and the relatively low price and genuine pedigree makes me very glad Nissan built one while they still could. We’re very lucky.

This is what Malcolm Flynn liked most about this particular version of the Nissan Z: Miraculous existence, Faithfulness to design intent, Nissan from top to bottom
The Nissan Z 2023 prices range from $56,650 for the basic trim level Coupe to $87,120 for the top of the range Coupe Nismo.

There's nine colours to choose from on the new Z's palette you can still get Ikazuchi Yellow if you missed out on a Proto launch edition. The full list of options includes Rosewood Metallic (maroon), Black Diamont Metallic, Gun Metallic (gunmetal grey), Seiran Blue with Super Black roof, Ikazuchi Yellow with Super Black roof, Passion Red with Super Black roof, Everest White with Super Black roof, Brilliant Silver with Super Black roof, and Boulder Grey with Super Black roof.
Inside the Z will be very familiar to 350Z owners, but it’s mostly new at surface level, and the material quality and most of the convenience features - including the new 8.0-inch multimedia screen - are a big jump over the 370Z.
The steering wheel finally has telescopic adjustment, but it’s also a good, round wheel, with really nice grippy leather, and the parts you hold were actually modelled on the R32 GT-R.
Nissan doesn't quote a 0-100km/h figure, but given its 13 per cent power-to-weight advantage over the 370Z suggests something in the vicinity of a 4.6 second time.

The Nissan Z originally debuted as the Nissan Fairlady Z, or Datsun 240Z in some markets, in October 1969.

There's only two, but they're trimmed in partial leather and perforated Alcantara. Each gets four-way power adjustment and seat heaters, but no seat cooling, and the driver's seat adds manually adjustable seat height and lumbar support. Even with this height adjustment, the seating position is a bit high for a for a car that’s all about driving fun.
The Z finally gets a modern multimedia screen with CarPlay and Android Auto, and while that screen is a bit small at 8 inches, the 12.3inch driver instrument display is bang on what you’d expect it to be.
There’s also an eight-speaker Bose audio system, leather and Alcantara trim, power adjustment and seat heaters, but no seat cooling, and that’s really the only thing that’s missing.

Under the Z's hatch is very familiar, with a reasonable 241-litre (VDA) boot space now six litres larger. This is enough for a weekend away for two, and there’s a tyre inflation kit and a subwoofer sitting under the boot floor.
