The MG3 is the small hatch largely responsible for the once-british-marque’s rise to popularity in Australia in the late 2010s and early 2020s.

Thanks to bargain pricing and a long warranty, this small car has been the springboard for the now-Chinese-owned company to launch an array of new mainstream models.

The second-generation version introduced hybrid powertrains to rival the Toyota Yaris and Suzuki Swift.

The line-up currently starts at $18,490 for the MG3 Core and ranges through to $29,990 for the range-topping MG3 Essence Hybrid+.
