    There are strict regulations on asbestos as well as safety compliance, and there are significant penalties. When Great Wall and Chery importer Ateco Automotive discovered a problem with its vehicles it reported the issue to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, which ordered a safety recall of almost 24,000 vehicles.
