Gac M8 Interior

The interior of the M8 is plush and finished in a range of different textures, from synthetic leather and suede to metallic inserts and adjustable interior cabin lighting. The dashboard is large and headlined by a 10.1-inch touchscreen multimedia display and a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel. The cabin looks well-considered and premium, no matter the grade-level.

Gac M8 Engine

Currently, all M8 grades share the same plug-in hybrid powertrain which combines a 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with a single electric motor. Together, they produce up to 274kW of power and 630Nm of torque. The engine alone produces up to 140kW and 320Nm. The M8 is front-wheel drive and has a two-speed automatic transmission but is not rated to tow.

Gac M8 Seats

The GAC M8 is offered with seven seats in a 2/2/3 configuration. The powered front seats offer eight-way adjustment and lumbar support for the driver and four-way adjustment for the passenger.

The middle row is styled with captain's seats manual adjustments and a powered footrest. These seats are fully-electric in the flagship grade. Upholstery is leather for front two rows and upgrades to semi-aniline leather for higher grades.

The third row seat has a 60/40 split, features a foldable armrest and is finished in synthetic-leather (although this upgrades to leather on higher grades).

Gac M8 Boot Space

The boot space offers up to 280L when all three rows are in use or up to 1500L when the third row is stored. There is a small underfloor storage area large enough to accommodate a charging cable and the tyre repair kit.

The boot height sits low but has a tall lip and a powered tailgate is standard across all grades. The third row can fold forward or tumble forward, depending on the space you require.
