The GWM Ora Long Range gets the same driveline as the Standard Range, but with a 63kWh battery for 420km of range and it costs $47,990, before on-road costs.
Like the Standard Range, the Long Range comes with a single electric motor and a single-speed transmission, driving the front wheels only.
The Ora’s design is retro but appealing and the cabin is quite cool with more retro touches and quilted seating trim.
In terms of safety, the Ora comes with lane-keeping assistant (including an emergency function), forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, active cruise-control, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, collision avoidance, door-open warning and road-sign recognition. The Ora also scored a maximum five stars in Euro NCAP testing, but hasn’t been tested here yet.
