The Titanium grade lives at the top of the Escape mountain, it comes with the most features and adds a few more little luxuries to this mid-sized SUV.

Titaniums are all-wheel drive (AWD), they come with a six-speed automatic transmission only and there's a petrol version for $44,990 and a diesel for $47,490.

Standard features on the Titianium include an 8.0-inch touchscreen with rearview camera, and Ford's latest Sync3 media system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, sat nav, rear parking sensors, an eight-speaker Sony sound system, two USB ports, dual-zone climate control, ambient multi-colour interior lighting, bi-Xenon adaptive headlights, kick-open auto tailgate, panoramic sunroof, second row tray tables, stainless steel twin exhaust, cloth seats and steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters.

The optional Technology Pack for $1300 brings advanced safety features such as AEB, blind spot and rear cross traffic alert.
