Honda has moved to cut the starting prices of its popular SUV range, with entry-level CR-V, ZR-V and HR-V grades welcoming reductions of up to $2800, along with a few extra sweeteners.

The biggest discount can be found on the entry-grade CR-V VTi X+, which sees a price cut of $2800, reducing the entry point from $44,700, drive-away, to $41,800.

Honda has also cut $500 from the top-spec e:HEV RS hybrid for a new starting price of $59,900, drive-away.

All CR-Vs also now qualify for five years of free servicing, while Honda will contribute $2500 to leasing arrangements financed through Honda Financial Services.

The same applies to the entire ZR-V range, though only the HR-V Vi X variant qualifies for the improved financing.

Remaining stock of the MY23 CR-V range, meanwhile, is offered with a $2500 price cut across the board.

That applies to remaining VTi L7, VTi AWD and VTi LX AWD grades, which also gain an eight-year/unlimited km warranty, eight years of roadside assist and a genuine Honda carpet mat set.

Entry pricing on the mid-sized ZR-V VTi X is down $2000, which now starts at $37,900, drive-away.

Similarly the top-spec hybrid e:HEV LX is also down $500 to $53,900, drive-away.

The compact HR-V VI X base model is now $2000 cheaper at $32,900, drive-away. Pricing for the rest of the range remains the same.

Honda has also cut the price of remaining MY23 Civic Type R models by $3000 for a new drive-away price of $70,600.

Buyers will need to contact their nearest Honda dealer quickly if they are interested; the sale will only last on the ZR-V and HR-V models until January 31 unless otherwise specified, while pricing for the CR-V entry grade and financing contributions on all models will remain indefinitely.

MY23 vehicles will only be available while stocks last.

Of the three SUV models the CR-V is the most popular with 5547 sales last year, followed by the ZR-V with 4092 and the HR-V with 3350.

The Honda Civic, meanwhile, sold 966 units.
