A Chinese Ranger chaser has beefed up its range.
JAC has announced the pricing and specifications for its expanded T9 ute range.
The T9 now comes as either a cab-chassis or dual-cab pick-up in three trim levels. The base cab-chassis without a tray starts from $41,162, before on-road costs.

Australia's next electric ute locked in: 2025 JAC T9 EV specs revealed ahead of local arrival as new Chinese player looks to make its mark before Isuzu D-Max EV and Ford Ranger PHEV land
This means the T9’s cheapest variant is roughly $8000 cheaper than the equivalent Ford Ranger.
The pricing remains relatively tight across the T9 range, with the range-topping Osprey X dual-cab pick-up starting from $47,079.
The T9 previously only came as a dual-cab pick-up in Australia, with two trim levels, and the pricing for those variants has stayed the same.
All T9s are powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine, producing 125kW and 410Nm, which places it similar to the power found in the Ranger’s base engine option
It uses a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission, and has a competitive 7.6L/100km fuel efficiency.
The ute comes standard with several solid features such as a leather steering wheel and accented seats, while it has a 10.4-inch touchscreen.
JAC says the T9 will arrive in dealerships this month, with a ‘Trade Pro’ cab-chassis and double cab-chassis due to arrive in early 2026.
It is also expected that a plug-in hybrid T9 will come to Australia some time next year, having launched overseas earlier in 2025.
