Holden Commodore 2013: Timing chain issue

I'm contemplating buying a VF commodore with the 3.6-litre SIDI engine, perhaps an SV6 or a Calais. I've heard and read reports of the V6 having timing chain issues on VZ and VE models. Do you think this issue is enough to warrant not buying a Commodore?

It was quite a common, and rather expensive issue when the Alloytec V6 was first released. Holden made a change to the chain in May 2007, which was claimed to have fixed the problem. I wouldn’t be put off buying a VF.
