Small reliable car options

I want a small reliable car for my wife such as a new Mazda2, Toyota Yaris, Honda Jazz or Kia Rio. It's for local driving and will replace a 1998 Toyota Corolla Seca that's never had a problem.

The two new arrivals this year, the Mazda2 and Jazz, both get The Tick from me. The Jazz is better value in the basic car and the Mazda rival has a more substantial feel. Go for the Honda.
