I have had a Ford Mustang on order for 12 months, knowing full well delivery would be in late 2015 and I have no problem with that. However, I am astounded at the lack of communication between Ford and Mustang customers. I would have thought Ford would show a lot more enthusiasm with such a major new vehicle release. I attended the showing of a demonstration Mustang at a Ford dealer and it was very poorly handled with no Ford representative to meet and greet customers and explain the car's features. The staff could not find the keys so we could look at the dashboard screen. I had to ask for the boot to be opened and there was no spare tyre in place and the staff could not say if the spare was a space saver or a normal wheel. Ford certainly appears to have a complete lack of interest which is concerning.
Well, there is an 18-month waiting list from people buying without looking or driving. Or is that cynical?
