Help with holden

MY WIFE has a Calais VXII that has had the same fuel-gauge issues reported many times in Carsguide. Like other readers, we had the same response from the dealer and later Holden: our car was ``outside'' the affected range, despite the fact it clearly was affected. I refused to pay the $425.60 plus fitting and GST to fix what I felt was a product fault. To cut a long story short, I contacted Holden Customer Assistance again, quoting Holden's response in Carsguide on September 7. Holden started to investigate our car's history and yesterday it was fixed. Holden Customer Assistance was very helpful in resolving an issue the dealer could have resolved long ago. Thanks for alerting me.
