Holden Cruze 2010: Handbrake fail

Last week the handbrake on my 2010 Holden Cruze CD manual failed and my car rolled into the car behind me! I was parked on a hill at maybe at 25-35 degree angle, in gear and the handbrake on. Is this covered under my warranty, and what should I do?

You need to get it fixed because the car would be deemed unroadworthy with a park brake malfunction, but I doubt that Holden would cover it under warranty, as brakes are not generally covered.
