With the price of fuel going only one way, I was wondering whether fuel catalysts are worth the money. I have seen these products popping up everywhere lately. All claim to save money and make your car run better. I own a V6 Triton and a 2.8-litre diesel HiLux. Would you recommend fitting one to either of these two vehicles?
Like you, I read about these systems and the claims their designers make for them, but my experience is that they rarely, if ever, work out in real life. If they really did work, why aren't they taken up by carmakers? The fact that they aren't seems to answer your question.
