My VT Commodore has done just over 330,000km, but recently it's developed a starting problem. When I turn the key it winds and eventually catches, but sometimes I have to turn the key off then on 20 or so times before it catches enough to start. It's been like this nearly a week now and it's getting progressively worse. What do you think the problem could be?
It's the old story; it's either a problem on the fuel side or one of the spark side. My inclination is to check the fuel pump, Commodores had problems with the in-tank pump, and I'm thinking it's not supplying the fuel.
