Choosing right blend

Asked by Charles Small

A NUMBER of service stations are now selling an E10 blend petrol and I was wondering about using it in my 2002 Peugeot 306. My dealer told me the octane rating of 94 was suitable for the car. What do you think?

YOU can use it without any problem. If the ethanol content creeps up to 25 per cent or more in the future then you would need to be careful, but that's not on the horizon.
