Mitsubishi Triton: Rear centre stoplights

I have noticed that some new cars, the Mitsubishi Triton ute being one, don’t have rear centre stoplights. I thought this was an ADR requirement?

They’re not required on utes. Triton GLX-Rs have one on centre of tailgate and have had since CR launch in 2006, but GLXs don't have one.
