Mazda BT-50 2013: Engine failure

Asked by Mark

Every now and then my 2013 Mazda BT-50 shuts down without warning. If I wait a few seconds it goes again, but it's not very good in traffic. It hasn't thrown up any codes. Any ideas?

It's most likely an intermittent fault with a sensor. By restarting the engine you are rebooting the computer, which is a sign of a fault in the engine management system.
