$278,190

The first-gen Aston Vanquish GT Coupe hit the road in 2001 in two-seat and '2+2' form with a thumping 5.9-litre naturally aspirated V12 in the nose driving the rear wheels.

It was retired in 2007. The lighter, sleeker second-gen version launched in 2012 and retained an updated version of the big V12 producing 421kW/620Nm. It remained on sale until 2017.

The line-up currently starts at $278,190 for the Vanquish S and ranges through to $362,890 for the range-topping Vanquish S Ultimate Volante.

Aston Martin Vanquish Colours

The Aston Martin Vanquish is available in 77 standard colours. Obviously that means there are too many to list here, with 18 different black and grey hues alone. The company also offers an array of purples, blues, reds, oranges and, of course, green - Aston Martin's trademark colour.

Aston Martin Vanquish Engine

The Aston Martin Vanquish is powered by a 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 engine. That makes it the last V12-powered model in the Aston Martin range, with the majority now powered by the AMG-sourced twin-turbo V8.

Aston Martin Vanquish Speed

Aston Martin claims the Vanquish has a 0-100km/h time of just 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 345km/h, thanks to its twin-turbo V12 engine.

Aston Martin Vanquish Interior

The interior design of the Aston Martin Vanquish is plush and pampering. Every surface is trimmed in a high-quality material, including leathers, metal and wood.

Aston Martin Vanquish Accessories

Standard equipment for the Aston Martin Vanquish includes 21-inch alloy wheels, carbon ceramic brakes, 16-way adjustable sports seats, keyless ignition, a 10.2-inch touchscreen multimedia display, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, wireless phone charging and a 1170-watt 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins sound system.

Aston Martin Vanquish Boot Space

The boot volume is just 248 litres in the Aston Martin Vanquish, which is surprisingly small for such a large grand tourer.

Aston Martin Vanquish Seats

The Aston Martin Vanquish, despite being nearly 5.0m long, is a two-seat coupe.

Aston Martin Vanquish Range

The combination of a thirsty V12 engine (13.7L/100km) and an 82-litre fuel tank means the Aston Martin Vanquish has a driving range of less than 600km.
