The interior of the Volvo EX30 range across its three variants includes hard plastic, soft-touch surfaces and a denim-like material or “tailored wool blend” seat upholstery. 

In terms of space, as befitting a compact SUV, there’s not a lot of it.

The glove box is small, there’s no centre console, and the door pockets are narrow and shallow.

The second row is squeezy and there are few amenities: no fold-down arm-rest with cup-holders, no directional air vents and the panoramic glass roof in top-spec variants doesn’t have a sliding cover.

At a minimum the Volvo EX30 has a 12.3-inch touchscreen multimedia system (with wireless Apple CarPlay), wireless charging, a Harman Kardon stereo with front sound-bar, 360-degree camera, semi-autonomous parking assist, and 19-inch alloy wheels.

Also across the line-up's standard features list are LED headlights and tail-lights, a digital key (Bluetooth phone unlocking), heated steering wheel, power tailgate and a fixed panoramic glass roof (but no sliding cover).

The Volvo EX30 can do the 0-100kmh sprint in 5.3 seconds (in single motor rear-wheel drive variants) or 3.7 seconds (in the twin-motor all-wheel drive variants).

The Volvo EX30 single motor rear-wheel drive variants produce a combined 200kW and 343Nm. They have a single-speed transmission and a 69kWh battery.

The Volvo EX30 twin-motor all-wheel drive variants produce a combined 315kW and 543Nm. They have a single-speed transmission and a 69kWh battery.

The Volvo EX30 is a compact SUV with five seats: two in the front and three in the back seat.

At a minimum, the front seats are manually adjustable through to power-adjustable set-ups that are heated but not ventilated.

The Volvo EX30 single-motor rear-wheel drive variants have a listed driving range up to 462km (Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicles Test Procedure) on a full charge.

The Volvo EX30 twin-motor all-wheel drive variants  have a listed driving range up to 417km (Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicles Test Procedure) on a full charge.
