Standard features on both the Volkswagen ID.5 Pro and GTX include keyless entry, ‘kick’ open tailgate, stainless steel pedals, ambient lighting with 30 colours, a 5.3-inch digital cockpit for driver instruments, a 12.9-inch media touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging, three-zone climate control, a panoramic glass roof with sun blind and heated front seats.

The ID.5 Pro has 19-inch wheels, while the GTX has 20-inch wheels. The GTX also comes with a more premium sound system in the form of a Harman Kardon eight-speaker stereo.

The Volkswagen ID.5 Pro has one electric motor only but with a healthy output of 210kW and 545Nm, and it drives the rear wheels.

The ID.5 GTX has two electric motors, one driving the front wheels and the other driving the rear wheels. The combined power output of the two motors is 250kW while the torque is still 545Nm for the rear, but it gains 134Nm from the front motor, too.
