Can you please clarify the towing ability of the new model Subaru Forester? Apparently the manual says to not exceed 80 km/h when towing. Is this a general safety rule, or is the CVT unable to cope with a load at higher speeds?
I've been in touch with Hyundai regarding the pitiful performance of high beam on my 2016 Tucson. They have no answer for me. The low beam is fantastic, LED … projecting, great light coverage in front of the vehicle, however, the high beam is only marginally better, giving off an orange yellow light that I find totally inadequate on country roads. Hyundai forums would suggest I'm not the only one with this problem. Hyundai customer care says there is currently no remedy to my problem. I contemplated fitting a nudge bar with built in LED light bar, however, because my vehicle is a Highlander, the forward collision sensors prevent a nudge bar from being fitted. It may be a minor problem to Hyundai, but with the extensive country/night driving I do, if the problem isn't resolved, I'm giving thought to getting rid of the vehicle altogether, and letting whoever I can, know the shortfalls of driving a current top of the range Tucson. I hope you can help.
I am looking to buy a low kilometer small or city hatchback for my daughter to drive around Sydney. I would like to pay $10-12,000, I am thinking 2011-2013, and would like electronic stability control. Which brand and model would you recommend?
My son has a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer with ABS brakes that failed. He got a replacement at the wreckers and had them installed and they work fine, but the ABS dash light still stays on. He took it to the dealer at Capalaba and they told him they could fix it while he was there for $25, but when he came back they said it didn't work. They then did another job for $25, which had the same result. They then said they could do another job, which would take 2 hours for another $250. In the end after sitting with his 2-year-old son for three hours and spending $300, which he had to pay as they had his keys, the car still has the dash light on. Any information to assist would be greatly appreciated.
When the air-con or heater is on the headlights on my 2015 Mitsubishi ASX dim. Any ideas?
