The 408 only comes in five colours and the only included paintwork option is Obsession Blue.
Okenite White, Sellenium Grey, and Nera Black all cost $690, while Elixir Red is priced at $1050.
The cabin interior curates a sophisticated sleekness by incorporating high-end materials and a swathe of soft touch points throughout.
The curved dashboard is headlined by dual 10-inch technology screens and features a mix of Nappa leather upholstery and synthetic leather trims.
A black suede-like headliner rounds out the aesthetic and there is a panoramic roof that can be optioned for an additional cost.

For the luxury factors, there is a heated steering wheel, powered front seats with heat and massage functions and Nappa leather upholstery and synthetic leather trims throughout.
For technology, there is a 10-inch touchscreen multimedia system and a 10-inch digital instrument cluster headlining the dashboard. As well as, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, built-in satellite navigation, four USB-C ports, two 12-volt sockets and a wireless charging pad.
Practical features include a powered tailgate, dual-zone air-conditioning, push-button start, keyless entry and the front driver's seat features a two-position memory function.
Other standard features include tyre pressure monitoring, remote climate control (accessed via key fob), AM/FM and DAB+ radio, carpet mats, and a full suite of LED lights.
The official 0-100km/h sprint time for the 408 GT is 7.8 seconds and its top speed is 234km/h.

The 408 GT has five seats in a 2/3 configuration.
The GT model, which is currently the only variant available for the Australian market, features black Nappa leather upholstery with contrasting green stitching and embossed Peugeot lion heads on the headrests of the front seats.
